Peggy and Brian Moore first met at her parent's home when Brian was a Peace Corps volunteer. It took 34 years for fate to bring the couple together in spousal relationship. Stephanie Peace
A visit to her dermatologist to check what she thought were unproblematic pare lesions indicated that Stephanie had cancer. Tests later revealed the diagnosis of Stage IV lung cancer. The schoolteacher and female parent of iii had never smoked. A biomarker test performed by FCS medical oncologist Dr. Syed F. Zafar found a rare genetic mutation. Stephanie continues to inspire others with her resilience and determination.

Recognized by the American Social club of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) with a national Clinical Trials Participation Honour, FCS offers patients access to more clinical trials than whatever individual oncology practice in Florida.
Our patients accept access to ground-breaking therapies, in a customs setting, and may participate in national clinical research studies of drugs and treatment protocols. In the past 4 years, the bulk of new cancer drugs approved for utilize in the U.S. were studied in clinical trials with Florida Cancer Specialists participation prior to approval.

We are proud of the growing number of FCS physicians and team members who take complied with our company-wide mandate to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 past October 1, 2021 or to file a completed declination form citing medical or religious reasons for exemption. Our patients overwhelmingly support this effort. In a recent survey, the overwhelming majority (88%) of our patients said it is of import for FCS physicians, nurses and staff to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
